Southern Rigging Supplies

The business is run by Ian Black who has a history of producing wire rope assemblies and rigging along with custom stainless steel rigs to the scientific and shipping communities.

In 2002 Southern Rigging Supplies was started to serve all market sectors. Industry, Trade and Home Users.

Specialising in the manufacture of bespoke wire rope rigging assemblies. Rigging manufactured for a wide variety of applications. Full swaging and talurit splicing services are available along with load test facilities.

Most of our wire assemblies are swaged inhouse but we have fully mobile electro-hydraulic equipment and can swage and install wire assemblies onsite anywhere in the UK.

To further complement our wire assemblies, we have developed a range of modular balustrade systems. These systems being suited to either wire rope or glass infill.

This modular design enables rapid turnaround of custom designs along with very competitive pricing.

In 2008 we developed our own state of the art balustrade and upstand load testing rig. With increasing emphasis on design aspects and safety margins, this has been essential.
